Situation
Chidlow Hall is located on a quiet country road (B5395) two miles south of Malpas in Cheshire.

Malpas is a large village with a market town history with an established community and offers a broad range of facilities.

Some two miles south of Chidlow Hall lies the town of Whitchurch that as well as providing all modern day conveniences is steeped in history and is home to the world's oldest clock makers.

History and Description
Until a few years ago Chidlow Hall was used as a dairy farm and 16 acres of the development is still rented to a neighbouring farm. The original farmhouse has been demolished to make way for a 7300 square foot, new build Georgian style manor house set back 60 metres from the road. Two large large barns are also being demolished but are being rebuilt on existing footprints using reclaimed materials to blend in with the new build. These will provide garaging for six vehicles, 1200 feet of office space as well as 2600 square foot of ancillary guest accommodation.

The manor house will be complimented by a new 2700 square foot leisure building featuring a 15-metre swimming pool and gym. The house and leisure centre will be developed using traditional materials including a superior quality reclaimed Cheshire hand-made brick with new red sandstone detailing under a Welsh slate roof - all built to an exacting standard with the latest building regulations and ultimately providing a ten year NHBC guarantee. The new estate will also include full equestrian facilities, a hard court sports area, raised terracing, sun deck and two ponds.

While this development will have a very traditional feel, the interior will feature the latest in security, Media/I.T., audio and lighting to ensure comfort, economy and efficiency for modern living. The development will also feature some of the latest eco designs, including heating via a ground source heat pump for the main house and a solar slate system for the leisure complex. This will lead to substantially reduced running costs compared to other similar sized period properties.
